The Screaming Jets announced as the headline artist for The TAB Eureka
ONE of Australia’s most iconic rock bands, The Screaming Jets, will be the headline artist performing at the world’s richest pacing race, The TAB Eureka, on Saturday 21 November at Club Menangle.
The fourth running of harness racing’s biggest event of the year transitions from its traditional September timeslot to late November, positioning the race as the ultimate Grand Final for Australia’s elite three and four-year-old pacers. The Screaming Jets will add to the carnival atmosphere as Club Menangle comes alive with world-class racing and entertainment.
“We love playing big outdoor shows, and this one’s going to be a cracker. There’ll sure be plenty happening at Club Menangle, and we’re looking forward to getting up there and giving everyone a full-tilt Screaming Jets show, turning it up after the last!” said lead singer Dave Gleeson. The band will take to the stage for a special After The Last concert.
With a formidable legacy spanning more than three decades, The Screaming Jets remain one of Australia's most enduring rock acts. Fronted by the charismatic Dave Gleeson, widely regarded as one of the country's premier frontmen, the band has built an impressive catalogue of anthems and heartfelt ballads. Their unmistakable sound and energy have produced classics including Better, Helping Hand and Shivers.
