Slot Holder Expression of Interest

Harness Racing Australia is calling for expressions of interests to be a slot holder for the next two editions of the TAB Eureka.

Prospective slot holders must apply through the below Expression of Interest Form, which will commence the application process.

This process will include the bona fides of the applicant(s) (including all persons and organisations involved), their motivation for purchasing a slot, details of how they can promote the event, and a willingness to enter into, and abide by, a formal licence (slot) agreement for 2026 and 2027.

Successful slot holder applicants will be required to pay the upfront amount of $150,000 upon signing the formal licence (slot) agreement.

Whilst slots are available to a broad cross-section of individuals, partnerships, companies, organisations, members, industry bodies, associations, syndicates, charities, breeders and mates, HRA will not accept applications from Wagering Service Providers and/or employees of Wagering Service Providers.

The slot holder application process opens on 8 April 2026 and completed applications must be received by no later than 5.00 pm (AEST) on 8 May 2026.

The slot holders will be selected by an independent selection panel with extensive experience in integrity and regulatory, legal and commercial functions.

The panel will consider the applicant submissions, undertake appropriate due diligence and provide recommendations to the HRA Executive.

As part of this process, a prospective slot holder may be invited to an interview with the selection panel to provide further detail in support of their application.

The 2026 edition of the TAB Eureka will be held in late November.
