In alphabetical order, the final field for this year’s Beautide is:

  • Barbary Tales

  • Bettablack Tiger

  • Chenin Beach

  • Cuzzy Bro

  • Fighter Command

  • Hazewillrev

  • Le Betty (1st Emg)

  • Seriously Sam

The Beautide is restricted to three and four-year-old pacers that are Tasbred or 100 percent owned by a Tasmanian resident/s for no less than 12 months before the Eureka and 100 per cent trained by a licensed Tasmanian trainer for no less than six months before the Eureka.

The 2090m event is a Preferential Barrier Draw based on age and sex, and the draw will take place on Tuesday afternoon.

The winner of the Beautide will receive Tasracing’s slot in the $2.1m TAB Eureka at Menangle on Saturday, 6 September.

Nominations for the remaining nine races for Saturday night’s Hobart meeting close at 9:30 am Tuesday, with the program featuring the $30,000 Fehlbergs Produce 2YO Sweepstakes Finals for the Fillies, and the Colts and Geldings, along with the $20,000 Metropolitan Cup for the open class pacers.
